Assassin’s Creed Origins The Hidden Ones has just released, and we have new guides to help you make the most of the DLC. In this short tutorial, we’ll help you find all four Papyrus scrolls in the new area of the map.
Because the DLC suggests having a level-40 character, we’ll assume our readers know the basics of the map and in-game navigation. If you’re ever stuck when finding a starting point, let Senu and these images help you. This video from PS4Trophies is also pretty great.
PAPYRUS SCROLL 1: STEALTHY SHRUB
Proceed to the location below to find the first Papyrus clue. It’s basically dead center in the Klysma Nome region. You’ll come across a stone building with a wood platform outside. Head past the wood structure and bunch of arrows to enter the building. On the floor to your right is a wooden door you must burn with an arrow. Do so and drop down to grab the clue on the table.
Go about 200 meters southeast to the location marked below. You'll see a tall tower with some bushes below it. The Papyrus can be found in those shrubs.
PAPYRUS SCROLL 2: LOST CAUSE
Moving south from the previous Papyrus location, go to the marked area at the water’s edge. Climb all the way to the top of the quarry, and find the clue on a table in a nearby tent.
Following the water about 200 meters, you’ll encounter a dam. Move past the barrier to come across the scroll on the ground in the shallow depths.
PAPYRUS SCROLL 3: GOOD THINGS COME
From the Temple Of Thoth fast travel point, make two big leaps downward. Once you emerge from the second bale of hay, turn around and enter the building behind you. Climb up the bookcase in the back-right corner to find the clue on top.
Move up north to the obelisk. The 12 o’clock position will point you toward the shoreline. Go there to find your scroll.
PAPYRUS SCROLL 4: TOOL OF APIS
From the Arsinoe fast travel point, look for the massive monument being built and climb up the scaffolding. The clue is on a white sheet at one of the stoppage points.
Head about 370 meters southwest and you’ll see the massive fishing rod by the shore. Just ahead of the rod are four wood posts in the water. The Papyrus is right in the middle of those.
Enjoy the loot you get from these achievements, and be sure to read our Assassin’s Creed Origins main-game Papyrus guide too. We’ll post more about The Hidden Ones in the days ahead.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is available now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
