Ubisoft released a new video earlier today that details the post-launch content for Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Just like Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Assassin's Creed Valhalla will also feature a Season Pass that allows players immediate access to post-launch content.
The post-launch content for Assassin's Creed Valhalla includes two different story expansions and a new questline. Even those who don't buy the Season Pass will receive free Seasonal content.
Out of the two expansions, the first one is called the Wrath of the Druids, which is scheduled for early spring 2021. In the Wrath of the Druids, Eivor will embark on a journey to Ireland, where they will need to uncover the mysteries of an ancient Druid cult and explore Dublin and other Celtic locations.
The second expansion is titled The Siege of Paris, which takes Eivor to a war-torn Francia. In The Siege of Paris, players are also said to encounter historical figures, form alliances, and conquer Paris from within.
Buying either the Gold or Ultimate Edition of Assassin's Creed Valhalla also unlocks a new quest called The Legend of Beowulf. It seems that the questline will involve a werewolf that the player needs to track down and kill.
In addition to these two story expansions, Assassin's Creed Valhalla will also include free seasonal content. The first seasonal content is called the Yule Festival, which will be available by late 2020. Similar expansions will be released throughout the year, which will include new festivals, events, new progression, skills, gear, adventures, and gameplay. Just like Assassin's Creed Origins and Odyssey, Assassin's Creed Valhalla will also feature the Discovery Tour, details of which will be revealed very soon.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is shaping up to be a blockbuster release this Holiday Season. Fans, including me, are really excited about what Ubisoft has got in store for us.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is releasing on November 10 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia. The game is also in development for the PS5.
