A new hotfix is available for Baldur’s Gate 3. Hotfix 17 resolves some issues, including one about Lae’zel. Also, the game’s AI has been improved.
Larian Studios pride itself on the game’s Romance System. Unlike other titles in the genre, Baldur’s Gate 3 treats romance quite similarly to real life. If you are a man and you’re courting a woman, for example, you must do a lot of things to win her affection. Well, this is mostly how it works in the game.
Having said that, Lae’zel was previously not "romanceable" regardless of your approval rating. Whether she likes you or not, a bug would prevent you from getting intimate with her. Thankfully, this has been fixed.
Another major issue addressed is that you will no longer be walking around doing Bludgeoning damage to everyone you come across.
Anyway, the game’s AI has been improved as well. Now, your enemies will give you everything they got, which should make things a lot more challenging than before.
