Those playing on Mac will be excited to know that Baldur’s Gate 3’s latest update includes full support for machines running the M1 chips. Not only can you play the game more smoothly now, but will also gain all content from Patch 6 up to the latest hotfix.
Hotfix 18 has brought some improvements and bug fixes as well. Those who want to travel to Grymforge the second time will no longer have to sail by boat as a waypoint becomes unlocked upon your first arrival.
If you have played the game, you may have noticed that some dead NPCs would slide away slowly. Although this is funny, it is still a bug nevertheless. This has been fixed already, but don't forget how it made you laugh at some point.
The sheathing animation, which was previously missing, has been restored. The issue where the game would crash when dragging and dropping your equipped items to the trade menu is addressed in this latest hotfix.

Developer Larian Studios has a good track record when it comes to addressing bugs reported by the community. According to Redditor @NotARealDeveloper, submitting bug reports via the in-game crash reporter works and the issue he had reported was fixed in this update.
Redditor @ThrudTheBarbarian is thankful that the devs have included support for M1 chips as they are expecting their new M1 MacBook Pro to arrive soon.
One user reported that they’ve experienced a crash when running the game using an M1 Mac. It seems that there might be an issue with the Steam overlay. Hopefully, the developers will fix this soon.
