Hold onto your Huffers, Blizzcon dates have just been announced . Blizzard’s yearly celebration of itself will take place November 4-5 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Southern California. This year, Blizzcon will be streamed live on Blizzard’s Twitch channel.
According to their website: “BlizzCon 2016 tickets will go on sale in two batches on Wednesday, April 20 at 7 p.m. PT and Saturday, April 23 at 10 a.m. PT through the online event ticketing service Universe , priced at $199 each (plus applicable taxes and fees). Check out the BlizzCon Ticket webpage for all the details.” Get them as soon as you can, because these will sell out quickly. Past years’ tickets sold out in mere minutes of their release.
There will also be a benefit dinner you can’t afford at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County. For $750, you get a plate and the chance to meet as many Blizzard executives as you can handle. Like every year before, their will be a virtual ticket available that has all of this year’s con exclusives. Previous years have had epic mounts, Hearthstone card backs and a Murloc lackey for Diablo III.
Blizzcon is a holy tradition, where fans of one geekdom meet and dress up like elves and Orcs. It’s like Comic-con for the even nerdier.
