It was back in September 2019 when Borderlands 3 was released, and so far, the game appears to be getting strong. The actual date is September 13, which is five weeks away. To prepare for the big day, mini-events have been put in place for everyone to enjoy.
One of the things that players can expect is the return of Loot the Universe. This is a series of mini-events where players are rewarded with Legendary loot by seeing and shooting planetary sights. Beginning August 12, planets take a turn each week to become the area with better drops. During the event, each of the affected zones of the planets offers a dedicated Legendary weapon type. There’s also a higher chance to get Legendary gear types.
The complete lineup is:
- Week 1
- Planet: Pandora
- Start: August 12 at 12:00 p.m. ET
- End: August 19 at 11:59 a.m. ET
- Week 2
- Planet: Promethea

Once Loot the Universe ends, these mini-events will be launching:

There’s also something being planned for the anniversary day itself though no details have been released so far.
Quick Hotfix
A hotfix for Borderlands 3 was released addressing a couple of issues:
- Tom and Xam were sometimes not dropping Soulrender
- Aurelia was sometimes not dropping Juliet’s Dazzle
In addition, players are reminded that Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine has been moved to a new location.
