Gearbox Software recently released a hotfix update for Borderlands 3 on PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One that fixes some of the small community issues. Some of the fixes include mission progression, skills not working as intended, cutscene issues, and more. Before jumping back into Borderlands 3, make sure you stay on the menu until you receive a message that says the hotfix has been applied.
Borderlands 3 Hotfix Update Patch Notes (March 19)
- Addressed a potential progression blocker from Typhon during "In the Shadow of Starlight."
- Addressed a reported concern that the Siren's Fist Over Matter skill was sometimes not working as intended if it was not in the hosts' view.
- Adjusted the collision at the stairs in Quietus Pike to prevent players from sometimes sinking into the ground after destroying the second vine door.
- Changed the Operative's Cool Hand skill description to show the correct values.
- Addressed a reported concern that Tyreen would occasionally re-appear after the cutscene during "The Great Vault."
Borderlands 3 has a really good deal on Steam right now. You can get the game for half it’s price, with publisher Gearbox dropping the basic edition to $30. It's only $40 for the Digital Deluxe edition, and $50 for the Super Deluxe edition.
There's even more planned for the future of Borderlands 3. ”To elaborate on the Spring 2020 roadmap, Greg, Fran, Mitsu, and Anthony will be discussing the major free content additions coming to Borderlands 3 this April," Gearbox mentioned in a blog post. "They'll talk Mayhem Mode 2.0 and the many ways it will overhaul and amp up the endgame, share more info on the galaxy-terrorizing gang warfare of the upcoming Revenge of the Cartels seasonal event, and even show off a new feature coming to the Borderlands 3 ECHOcast Twitch Extension.”
