‘Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare’ 1.09 Update Leaks Bribe Supply Drops, New Scorestreak Variants & More

Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare was updated to version 1.09 yesterday and dataminers have pored over the new files to locate some interesting finds. Namely, Supply Drops are seemingly being expanded, and new variants may be on the way for weapons and Scorestreaks.

First in the docket is the controversial subject of Supply Drops. Borrowing a page from the Black Ops 3 playbook, icons would suggest that the bribe box may be coming to Infinite Warfare. For those who forget how it worked, they were limited-time drops that guaranteed perks for your Specialist. Judging by the icons below, the implication is that there might be separate bribes for things like Epics, Legendaries, Salvage and Combat Rig items. Like other drops, you’ll assumingly use keys to open them.

On the weapons side of things, we see Epic variants for what we assume to be the Type-2 assault rifle and the FHR-40 SMG. There’s also evidence of an axe melee weapon in the works as well. That blunt form of defense was previously seen in Zombies mode, so it might be ready for its multiplayer debut.

Scorestreaks have surfaced in the form of icons, and what we’re essentially seeing are three different camo colors of the stock designs. While not confirmed, this would seem to imply that these skins may be classified as Epic, Legendary and Rare. With that system in place, will they be restricted to Supply Drops or available in the wider roster? It’s difficult to know for sure. As with all leaks, it’s important to take these assets with a grain of salt.

Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare update 1.09 brought Combat Records to the 2016 game. Changes were also made to the multiplayer lobby UI as well. Beyond that, there were dozens of bug fixes across all platforms.
