Infinity Ward introduced tons of new content for Call of Duty: Warzone’s sixth season, which includes a killstreak called Foresight. This killstreak is a bit different compared to the others, as players can find the killstreak inside some underground bunkers. As Twitter user ModernWarzone noted, the Foresight killstreak can be found in bunkers and shows every circle location for the remainder of the match.
Foresight also doesn’t act like an ordinary killstreak, as once the player picks up the killstreak, it activates automatically and doesn’t even take a killstreak spot. Because Foresight allows players to see where the circles begin and end, this gives a major advantage in terms of intel, as players just have to collect gear and head towards the end zone. A team with Foresight can set up defenses in the final zone early in a round, making it harder for other teams to win when the zone is about to close.
In a game like Call of Duty that favors campers so much, this killstreak makes it easier for them to prepare. There have been multiple complaints from players about the new killstreak as it encourages players to set up their defenses for the final hustle. Setting up the end zone with utilities like claymores and proximity mines make it even harder for the final teams to attack the defenders.
Infinity Ward hasn’t done much to nerf the mechanic of Foresight, but they have decreased the drop rate of the killstreak. The update also included some general fixes such as increasing the drop rate of the minigun and adjusting some spawn locations. Players will also now die from gas while riding the subway.
So, what are your thoughts on the new Foresight killstreak in Call of Duty: Warzone? Do you think Infinity Ward will nerf the killstreak even more or remove it entirely? Personally, I think it’s a terrible mechanic as dealing with campers is already very tough. Whatever your thoughts may be, let us know in the comments below.
