- Once the user has enabled Discord Rich Presence for Call of Duty: WWII in the Discord App Settings for Games, the user will now have several options within the Call of Duty Settings.
Most of the changes relate to bug fixes, but the big adjustments truly worth knowing are the addition of Ranked Play and an enhanced Custom Emblem Editor specially tuned for PC. While having to wait for these features was a bit of bummer, they arrive in a more stable and complete state than what previously existed on consoles. Taking the additional Discord chat settings into account, Call Of Duty: WWII’s Steam build is both caught up and specifically enhanced for the platform it’s on.
That’s a pretty good thing considering the Winter Siege event is here. For those who missed our previous updates on the subject, the event runs through Jan. 2 and adds a collection of new weapons, winter-themed Supply Drops, a limited Winter Carentan map and the return of Gun Game. Weapons can be obtained via Winter Supply Drops, Collection Rewards or by completing special orders to directly unlock specific variants. At the time of publish, the STEN is up for grabs for playing 50 multiplayer matches in 12 hours.
In terms of playlists, Gun Game won’t become available until Dec. 15. Until then, enjoy some Winter Carentan.
Call Of Duty: WWII is available now on PS4, Xbox One amd PC. Winter Siege should be rolling out across all platforms.
