11 Bit Studios and Dead Mage released their pricing details for Children of Morta, which will come out this summer.
The game will launch digitally for all consoles and the PC, and will cost $21.99. It will also have physical editions through distributor, Merge Games, which will only be available for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (only in Europe and Australia).

Children of Morta is set in a far away land, however it tells the story of emotions and values that are very familiar to us all. It is about love and hope, yearning and misgiving, and finally, the loss and sacrifices that you are ready to make in order to protect the ones you hold dear.
In Children of Morta, players go on a very unique journey with a family of heroes. As Corruption takes control over their land, its guardians take their stand to defeat the ancient evil that haunts it. To make things clear, this is not a story about saving others, it is about the courageous family that stands united as everything that surrounds them sinks into the darkness.
The key features of the game include:
- Find out the story behind the Guardians of Mount Morta, the Bergson family. Allow yourself to be immersed into the family’s hardships to save their beloved land.
- Explore the Mystical Mountain, the source of life, health, and prosperity filled with rich history and magic. Figure out why Corruption came to this land.
- Each character has a unique set of skills, some outshine the others with close combat, some execute better attacks at a distance or even cast magic spells. Go on and try out each play style to get the perfect fit.
- You can ask for advice from Uncle Ben and Grandma Margaret. Make use of their wisdom to know the way of the spirit of Morta, Rea. You can also use their skills to upgrade your family’s gear and improve main attributes.
- The forests, dungeons, and temples will continue to change as they are touched by Corruption. You will surely have a unique experience every time.
- The unique art style combines both hand-painted pixel art and frame-by-frame animations together with modern lighting techniques, everything coming to life for the sake of creating the wonderful yet dangerous land of Mount Morta.
