Cyberpunk 2077 has been years in the making, and after being delayed multiple times, the game now finally seems to have a concrete release date. In fact, photos of PS4 and Xbox One copies of Cyberpunk 2077 have appeared online. So, it's highly unlikely that the game will be delayed once more.
Now, with the game release approaching ever closer, developer CD Projekt Red has been sharing additional details about what players can expect. Recently, CDPR's QA Lead Łukasz Babiel shared on Twitter that he was 175 hours into the game and hadn't yet reached the end credits. Fans were quick enough to inquire with Babiel about the game, and one of the Twitter users asked the QA Lead if there was a setting to turn off nudity in Cyberpunk 2077. Babiel replied with a yes, suggesting that nudity can be censored in CDPR's upcoming action RPG.
CD Projekt Red is a developer that doesn't shy away from incorporating adult subject matters in its game. This was also the case with The Witcher 3. The ESRB has rated Cyberpunk 2077 as a Mature video game that includes intense violence, strong sexual content, use of alcohol and drugs, blood and gore, and of course, nudity.
Fans who would prefer not to view nude content in Cyberpunk 2077 will have an option to disable nudity. This feature should also allow streamers who will be streaming Cyberpunk 2077 to rest easy without violating Twitch's Attire and Nudity policies.
Cyberpunk 2077 is just 15 days away from release and fans are really excited to get their hands on the game. The game recently received a new gameplay trailer, which briefs fans on what Cyberpunk 2077 is all about. Additionally, CDPR has also confirmed that Johnny Silverhand, a.k.a. Keanu Reeves, is canon in the game, and plays a surprisingly significant role.
Cyberpunk 2077 is releasing on December 10 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Stadia. The game will also be receiving a PS5 and Xbox Series X/S ports in 2021.
