The turn-based strategy game from the Netflix series, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics, will be launched later this year.
The game’s publisher, En Masse Entertainment and developer, BonusXP, made this announcement during the E3 2019 Nintendo Direct. It will be available sometime this year for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics brings the upcoming Netflix series to the world of tactical strategy gaming. The fans of the series will be given a chance to explore the fictional world of Thra by going through the scenes of the actual series and even going beyond them. Players will be able to run into new characters, stories, and locations they’ve never seen or heard of before.
All throughout the vast world of Thra, 80 one-of-a-kind turn-based campaign battles are happening simultaneously. Players gather new allies and organize their teams by giving them designated roles and armoring them with better equipment.

- Explore the vast world of Thra. Discover every secret there is on the legend of the Dark Crystal. As you go on, you will earn more knowledge about the Gelfling clans, including their histories throughout more than five different territories. There are more than fifteen character jobs to choose from with the character of your choice. Players will bring the Gelfling to victory and fight against hostile Skeksis.
- Help the Gelfling in fulfilling their prophecy through the multi-layered, turn-based tactical combat. You will be able to customize each unit by choosing their gear, upgrading their skills, and creating a well devised job system. Create both crafty and devious plans, anything will work as long as you defeat your enemies.
- The creators guarantee high replayability for everyone who wants to enjoy the game as much as they can. You can repeat each battle you’ve already finished and try earning full marks. If you’ve completed the whole game, just select New Game and choose a mode. This will keep the progress you made safe as you test out more challenging versions of each battle.
- Don’t let the beauty of the world of Thra deceive you, the environment is both unpredictable and dangerous. Some changes that occur on the battlefield will either give the Gelflings chances or will leave them with a handicap. This calls for quick, yet careful, changes of plan.
