Players looking forward to the next episode in Supermassive Games’ popular anthology series will not have to wait that long, as the developer announced a fall release window for The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me, with the title confirmed for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Like other titles in the anthology, The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me will be published by Bandai Namco. The publisher has released a new story trailer for the game which you can check out below.
Pre-order editions for the game have also been announced; besides the Standard Edition, players can also look forward to a special retail edition called the Animatronic Collector’s Edition. It includes the base game for your console platform of choice (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, or Xbox One) plus the following goodies:

- Exclusive postcard and envelope
- Exclusive business card
- Exclusive hotel map
- An animatronic bust standing 11 cm. tall
- Curator’s Cut Early Access, which features previously unavailable scenes with different playable characters, new choices, and different outcomes.
Bandai Namco also announced a brand-new two-game bundle having both The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me and its predecessor, The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes. It will also include an exclusive set of The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes playing cards, collectible pins, an exclusive hotel map, and the Curator’s Cut Early Access content. All Standard Edition pre-orders, regardless of platform, will include the Curator’s Cut.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me is Supermassive Games’ second title this year. The interactive studio just released The Quarry, a standalone title set in the same vein as its other interactive drama horror games, published by 2K for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series. The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me will take place in the World’s Fair Hotel, where players will go up against a deadly serial killer as they attempt to survive. Like the previous games in the series, players can see an ending with all the cast of characters surviving or none of them at all, with multiplayer modes also available to play with friends.
