The final pre-launch trailer for Dark Souls 3 has been released by Bandai Namco, roughly three weeks before the project’s North American debut, and the game’s last promotional clip does an absolutely stellar job of setting the stage for the next entry in the Dark Souls franchise.
There’s been no shortage of new Dark Souls 3 footage over the last few weeks, thanks to the regular live streams from Bandai Namco and events like SXSW Gaming. But it seems there are still plenty of unrevealed enemies and environments for players to encounter when Dark Souls 3 heads to stores next month. All manner of new content is on display in the game’s final trailer, including what appear to be a couple of bosses we haven’t seen in previous footage of the game.
Of course, there are also plenty of callbacks to the emotions and mechanics players have come to expect from the franchise. One of several narrators featured in the trailer promises players will face “enough death to leave you broken time after time.” In fact, there’s enough chatter about the game’s setting that some fans might consider portions of this week’s Dark Souls 3 trailer spoiler material. So consider yourself warned.
