A new trailer for Dark Souls 3 is now online, roughly two weeks after publisher Bandai Namco unveiled the game’s introductory cinematic, and there’s more than enough action in this week’s “True Colors of Darkness” preview to get fans hyped for the Dark Souls 3 release date.

Backed by the song “True Colors”, performed by Richie Kohan and Faux Fix, the new Dark Souls 3 trailer takes a few minutes to remind players of the perilous journey they’ll be undertaking when DS3 heads to stores this spring. The trailer is also entirely comprised of quick cuts, brief snippets of video showing one or two attack animations before moving on, but you might be surprised by just how much new material FromSoftware managed to pack into its latest DS3 trailer.

To our delight, the latest preview of Dark Souls 3 includes a look at many of the people and places we’ll be visiting in FromSoftware’s next nightmarish action-RPG. Dozens of new enemies and weapons appear in the clip, from withered soldiers to hulking bosses that will undoubtedly try the patience of the Dark Souls 3 community. There’s even a brief PvP tease near the end of the trailer.

If you haven’t already, take a couple of minutes to check out the new “True Colors of Darkness” trailer for Dark Souls 3. Then head down to the comments section and let us know whether or not you plan to buy a copy of Dark Souls 3 when the upcoming action-RPG makes its North American debut.
