Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers, two prominent characters from the Resident Evil franchise, are now available in Dead by Daylight via Patch 6.2.0. They’re currently on the game’s public test build, so those who want to try them out may want to download this beta update right away.
Rebecca and Ada are two of the latest survivors introduced in Dead by Daylight. This is part of developer Behaviour Interactive’s Resident Evil: PROJECT W.
So, what makes these two vixens special? Read further to find out.
New Survivors
Ada Wong possesses perks that provide utility to the other survivors. Wiretap activates after repairing Generators for at least three seconds, and then, pressing the ability button will prompt Ada to install a spy trap, which reveals the aura of the Killer that comes within 14 meters of it to all survivors.
Reactive Healing is another useful perk that increases her survivability. When Ada is injured and another survivor loses a health state within 32 meters of her, she gains an increase in healing progression by 25%/30%/35%.
Ada can hide from the Killer’s gaze thanks to her Low Profile perk. This perk activates whenever Ada is the last survivor standing on the map.
Now that you know what Ada Wong can do, what about Rebecca Chambers? She has a pretty interesting kit, which makes her a valuable asset to the team.
Better Than New gives a 6% speed boost to generator repair, healing, chest opening, and totem cleansing to a targeted survivor after Rebecca used a healing action on that survivor. This lasts for 25/30/35 seconds.
Pressing the second active ability button when Rebecca is within six meters of a hooked survivor activates the Reassurance perk. This pauses their struggle progression for up to 30 seconds. If they’re already in the struggle phase, this perk pauses Struggle Skill Checks.
Rebecca’s last perk is called Hyperfocus. When she hits a great Skill Check while repairing or healing, the perk gains one token, up to a maximum of six. Each token increases the chance of Skill Check trigger by 2%, skill Check cursor speed by 4%, and bonus progression for great Skill Checks by 10%/20%/30% of its base value.
Improved Raccoon City Police Station Map
Patch 6.2.0 brings a better Raccoon City Police Station map. Now, players can traverse the East Wing and the West Wing, with each having separate layouts.
In addition, this map has new openings to make it easier for players to navigate and wider hallways to help improve gameplay. Furthermore, the map is considerably smaller than the original version, so it won’t take that long for survivors and killers to converge.
Dead by Daylight Patch 6.2.0 PTB is currently only available on PC.
