Sony will expand its collection of hardware bundles later this year, the publisher and console manufacturer confirmed this week, and Destiny fans around the globe have something pretty special to look forward to. We’re not sure how many people are willing to buy a PS4 Pro just for Bungie’s beloved shared-world shooter, but the upcoming Destiny 2 PS4 Pro hardware bundle will certainly give consumers a reason to consider an upgrade when it hits retail in September.

The new bundle heads to stores the same day as Destiny 2 (Sept. 6) and features another Glacier White PS4 Pro, similar (with a slight upgrade) to the Destiny PS4 bundles released in 2014. The bundle includes a matching DualShock 4, disappointingly devoid of any game-related branding or decor. And there’s nothing on the console either, unlike its D1 counterpart. But the new Destiny 2 PS4 Pro hardware bundle does include a significant discount for any fans planning to buy the Destiny 2 Expansion Pass.

The upcoming Destiny 2 PS4 Pro bundle won’t just include a Glacier White console and a copy of Bungie’s next shared-world shooter. It also includes the Destiny 2 digital content pass; a software bundle that includes the game’s Expansion Pass -- which covers two post-launch releases -- and a premium content pack that hasn’t been detailed. If purchased separately, the PS4 Pro and a copy of Destiny 2 Digital Deluxe Edition would be $499.98, before tax and/or shipping costs. But those lucky enough to scoop up the Destiny 2 PS4 Pro bundle will receive both the game, console and Expansion Pass for an enticing $449.99.

Destiny 2 is in development for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game hits consoles on Sept. 6 before making the jump to PC in late October.
