A new trailer for Destiny: The Collection spends its minute-long runtime paying tribute to all of PlayStation 4’s Destiny exclusives. Check it out below:
Destiny: The Collection releases on Sept. 20 alongside the new Rise of Iron expansion. Destiny: The Collections contains the base game, its DLC, and Rise of Iron as well as The Taken King – players on PS4 also get all of PlayStation’s exclusive content.
The PlayStation 4’s exclusive content includes the following:
Rise of Iron exclusive quest Show of Strength
Timeless Tereshkova ship
Icarus multiplayer map
The Echo Chamber strike from Rise of Iron
Sector 618 multiplayer map
Jade Rabbit exotic
Talk about a trailer that exists to rub salt in the wounds of Xbox One players, who are essentially paying the same amount for less content. Exclusivity doesn’t last forever, but waiting until fall 2017 is a tough pill to swallow. (At that point, isn’t it less of a pill and more of a bullet?)
At least Rise of Iron ’s cinematic story campaign is intact, and it looks like a doozy:
"In Game of Thrones , you have these big, long episodes with a lot of different characters," art director Shiek Wang said to GameSpot at Gamescom. "But then [the show] leaves them for a while. Then they come back and dive super deep into, say, Arya. And you say, 'Oh my gosh, that's why she did this, and that's why the writers chose to do this!' That's very much what we're doing with Rise of Iron."

The next Destiny DLC debuts Sept. 20 and includes “a new cinematic story campaign, new weapons and armor, a new Raid, new and remastered co-operative Strikes, a new social space, and more.” Will you be playing? Feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
