A new update has dropped for Diablo Immortal, and it is a big one. New mechanics, content, and improvements are implemented, but one feature that stands above the rest is the class change!
There are six classes in Diablo Immortal, so it’s understandable if you had a hard time choosing the right one. After picking and playing a particular class for a while, you probably want to try something new. But the thing is, you don’t want to start all over again. Fortunately, the developers implemented a new mechanic that lets you change classes. If you decide to try a different one, you can visit the Shifting Flames brazier in Westmarch to begin.
Now, there are important things to take note of. Class change is available to you once you hit Level 35. You can change classes every seven days for free, but there’s a one-week waiting period before you can use this feature again. There is also an option that allows you to instantly revert to your previous class if you’re not happy with the new one.
Moreover, a few things will happen when using the feature for the first time. One, you can set the appearance of your character. Two, the Paragon Trees will be reset, so you can adjust your build accordingly. And three, you’ll be granted placeholder gear with the “Reservist’s” prefix. This is equivalent to the equipment of your previous class, meaning the stats remain the same except for the class-specific abilities.
Aside from that, clans, warbands, and other social group affiliations will carry over. Another thing to keep in mind is that there are no plans for letting you change classes more frequently at this time. Perhaps the developers might give you the ability to purchase something that lets you do that in the future.
Adventurer’s Path
In addition to the new mechanic, the latest update also features a new limited-time event called the Adventurer’s Path. From July 20 to August 3 at 3 a.m. server time, completing event-exclusive tasks grants you gold, enchanted dust, and scrap materials. That’s not all! Milestone rewards will be given to you once you rack up enough completed tasks. They are:
- Eight tasks: 10 Aspirant’s keys
- 16 tasks: the Adventurer’s Laurel Portrait Frame
- 20 tasks: One Legendary Crest
So, what can you say about the new class change feature? Are you going to use it immediately after updating the game, or are you already satisfied with your current one?
Diablo Immortal July 20 Update is available on Android, iOS, and PC.
