Blizzard has finally merged most of Diablo Immortal’s servers following the recent maintenance. This includes servers from North America, South America, and East Asia.
What Does This Mean for Players?
Players may have an easier time finding others to play with now after the recent server merge. This is really useful, especially if some people still haven’t managed to take on harder raid content, for example.
Also, players do not have to worry about the progress they’ve made in Diablo Immortal so far because most of them have been retained. This includes clans, warbands, Deeds of Valor badges, achievements, and Grand Market transactions.
Other Changes
Aside from the server merge, Blizzard released a new update for Diablo Immortal , which implements some fundamental changes.
The Shadows’ Assembly now takes place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. server time. Additionally, the Wrathborne Invasion will now occur twice a day, with the first one happening at 12:30 p.m. server time and the second one at 9 p.m. According to Blizzard, these changes will allow the vast majority of Diablo Immortal players to enjoy the said activities at a more convenient time.
Next, players can now craft specific set items at Charsi’s forge in Westmarch using a new resource called Fabled Wisp. Players can get some by salvaging set items. It’s important to note that only set items acquired after the recent update can be salvaged into a Fabled Wisp.
Here are the other changes:
- Legendary Gems
- There are now two types of Gem Fragments: Bound and Unbound. Neither of these Gem Fragments can be sold in Wynton’s Grand Market, but Unbound Gem Fragments allow a Legendary Gem to be upgraded without making it bound.
- Upgraded Legendary Gems can now be sold in Wynton’s Grand Market. To be eligible, the Legendary Gem must have never been equipped to your character, must have been previously upgraded using Unbound Gems or Unbound Gem Fragments only, and must be Rank five or lower.
- Castle Cyrangar
- A Blacksmith and Identifier have been added to Castle Cyrangar’s courtyard to provide additional player ease.
- Kion’s Ordeal
- A new management UI that displays the Paragon Level, Combat Rating, and Contribution Score of each of your players with the ability to sort each listing.
- The ability to set Combat Rating and Contribution Score requirements for raid entry.
- A Waitlist feature to help manage incoming applicants.
- An improved difficulty selection UI with clear descriptions for each tier.
So, what can you say about the server merge? Is there anything that struck you from the game’s latest update?
