A new gameplay video for Dishonored 2 has released, this time showing off some of the more creative ways players will be able to take down enemies. The trailer, which can be seen above, is basically a way to show that the new Domino ability is the coolest thing ever.
The first clip shows off some of Emily’s new abilities. The coolest by far is Domino, which links enemies together and makes them “share the same fate.” What this means is if you shoot one, they all get shot. If you throw one through a wall of light, they all vaporize.
Add this to a few other new powers, and Emily is looking like a bigger badass than Corvo. One instance sees Emily link all the enemies together with Domino, then create a Doppelganger that also is linked to the bad guys. This is a dummy you make to attract the attention of enemies. Emily takes this doppelganger and throws it over a high ledge, meaning all the enemies get sent flying because they were all linked together. It’s a very cool sequence to watch.
Corvo, on the other hand, seems to be mastering his ability to bend time. Many of his kills involve stopping time to create all sorts of shenanigans. A new ability for Corvo is a modification of the Blink ability from the original Dishonored. Now, after Corvo dashes forward, he can throw an attack in right at the end. This lets you shoot right up next to a guy and immediately take him out in one quick motion.
While this video has plenty of highlights, it’s just a taste of the creative ways you can take out enemies. We’ll know even more of the new abilities as we get closer to the Dishonored 2 release date of Nov. 11.
