There won’t be any Disney Infinity 4.0 content headed to stores in 2016, Disney Interactive confirmed this week. Instead, the company will release four new Disney Infinity 3.0 play sets before the end of the year, massively expanding the functionality of Disney’s popular toys-to-life platform.

The first details on the next wave of Disney Infinity 3.0 were announced on this week’s Disney Infinity Next live stream, which focused primarily on the Marvel Battlegrounds play set headed to stores later this month. Fortunately, for those of us who didn’t catch the broadcast, Disney Interactive published loads of new information about the future of Disney Infinity on the official DI blog. And it looks like 2016 is going to be a big year for the Disney Infinity platform, despite the lack of numeric sequel.

In addition to previewing the Marvel Battlegrounds content, which adds four player cooperative action and Power Stone inspired brawling to Disney Infinity, Disney Interactive treated fans to their first look at the Zootopia content that heads to stores this week. Two characters (Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde) from the upcoming film are now available for purchase, along with four Zootopia power discs inspired by the film. Disney Interactive also announced plans to release a Baloo figure alongside Jon Favreau’s upcoming live-action remake of The Jungle Book.

Last, but certainly not least, Disney Interactive announced three more characters joining the next wave of Disney Infinity 3.0 figures. Along with the previously revealed Captain America – The First Avenger, Hulkbuster and Ultron figures, fans can look forward to the Disney Infinity debut of Black Panther, Ant-Man and Vision when Captain America: Civil War heads to theaters on May 6.
