DOOM , the original space-marine shooter, is having an open beta for its multiplayer from March 31 to April 4. If you pre-ordered Wolfenstein: The New Order, you can access the beta on PC, Xbox One and PS4 by using the code that came with the game. There will be “never-before-seen weapons, armor sets, taunts and hack modules.”
To prepare players’ minds for this gore fest, Bethesda released a brand new trailer . It shows a multiplayer match featuring a familiar announcer and filled with explosions. DOOM will have a demon feature similar to Dead Space and Evolve , where you can turn into a demon that kills other players. The game looks amazing: like Destiny with more gore and hellfire.
The gameplay returns to that familiar Quake and DOOM style of big explosions and even bigger pay-offs. I remember jumping around the old maps, blasting my friends to smithereens with a rocket launcher. There’s a reason that these games have had players hooked ever since DOOM was first released, when your dad was still playing video games.

Equipment: Frag Grenade, Personal Teleporter, Siphon Grenade
