We’re getting closer and closer to the Main Event of the Dota 2 Shanghai Major; the second stop on the road to The International 6 and the first multi-million dollar Dota 2 tournament of 2016. Tonight, things start to get interesting, thanks to a pair of Upper Bracket match-ups and four single-game elimination matches. The action will begin with a best of three series pitting Alliance against Team Liquid, followed by a series between the unbeaten MVP Phoenix and LGD Gaming.
As always, those hoping to watch the first night of the Dota 2 Shanghai Major playoffs can catch all of the action via the game client. Doing so will also give you the opportunity to try out the MVP voting tool introduced last month. Of course, if the lag many players experienced last week returns during the playoffs, fans can still catch the vast majority of tonight’s games on Twitch and Steam Broadcasting.
