Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai: A Hero’s Bonds is arriving on Android and iOS this year. This game is a spin-off of the Dragon Quest franchise and is based on the anime "Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai." This upcoming mobile game offers dynamic battle sequences along with deep character progressions.
Anime Series
The anime tells the story of a Demon King Hadlar that was defeated by the hero Avan. Upon his defeat, different monsters were released from his control and went to live in peace on the island known as Dermline. On this island filled with monsters and demons, only one human named Dai lives among them. He longs to be a hero and finally gets his chance when the Demon King is resurrected.
The anime was first released in 1991 with a new adaptation launched in October 2020. The new series is still ongoing and available at Crunchyroll.
Mobile Game
Since the mobile game is based on the anime series, players get the chance to experience the epic story.
The game offers cooperative play for up to three players, who must work together and come up with a strategy to defeat the Dark Army on a three-lane battlefield. To succeed, players need to see how the opponents move and respond with the correct counter-attack, spell, or dodge.
There are different characters that players can choose from and each offers various roles, special skills, and abilities. Besides characters, players can also upgrade and customize attacks, weapons, and equipment.
Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai: A Hero’s Bonds is set to be released as a free-to-start game that has in-app purchases. It’s going to be available in Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, and French.
Pre-registration of the game is now available for Android.
