If you’ve just started playing DragonVale World, chances are you’re wondering what all the combinations of dragons are that you can breed. While there are well over 50 different dragons that can be bred in the game that including common, rare epic and enchanted offerings. But figuring out which combinations spawn which dragons can be a little tricky. To help you breed the dragon you’ve been waiting for instead of spending your precious diamonds on them in the market, we’ve put together a quick breeding guide of all the different breeding combinations for common, rare and enchanted dragons. We will also be adding Epic dragons like the Rainbow dragon as soon as we figure it out, so check back again soon or see our beginner’s tips and tricks to playing DragonVale World, here.
Dragonvale World Dragon Breeding Guide - The Basics
To begin with, there are There are 7 primary dragon types. Jungle, Fire, Earth, Frozen, Water, Fairy and Air . These can each be bred with each other to produce two different hybrids depending on which order you place them in the breeding cave. For example, a Jungle + Fire yields Flytrap while a Fire + Jungle yields a Wildfire dragon. This means in addition to the 7 primary dragon types, you get 42 more hybrids.
In addition to these hybrids, there are also some dragon hybrids that include more than two elements, like the Cinder Dragon and those can be acquired by breeding certain hybrids together. Below are all the combinations we are aware of so far – including some rare or enchanted like the venom dragon and how to breed them. We’ll keep adding to our breeding guide as we learn more.
Rare and Enchanted DragonVale World Breeding Guide
We put these at the beginning of our list because they seem to be the ones people are most interested in and are the hardest to acquire. The tricky thing about these dragons is that there’s nothing specific you can do to ensure an enchanted or rare dragon comes out of your breeding combo. You just have to keep breeding the right combo until the dragon you’re hoping for appears. This can be pretty frustrating – particularly when trying to fulfill one of those early goals, which ask you to hatch a Venom Dragon. If you keep breeding the same combo, though, eventually you will get difficult to acquire dragons like the Venom Dragon. For us personally, once we bred an enchanted Fire dragon with a Jungle dragon, that's when we finally ended up with a Venom Dragon to hatch.

Epic Dragon Breeding Guide
We're still working out the combos on these guys, but a DragonVale community forum does have some hints about how you may be able to breed epic dragons like Rainbow, Fossil and Totem. In all there are seven epics and two Dragonsai Dragons. They are as follows:
