The Elder Scrolls Online got Update 8.0.7 recently, and it brought some changes to Tales of Tribute and bug fixes.
Tales of Tribute is a card game introduced in the High Isle expansion. That said, several changes are made to the card game. First, the Tales of Tribute Master achievement now requires all component achievements to be completed, including Tales of Travel which requires you to play Tales of Tribute on various locations in The Elder Scrolls Online.
Second, clues now indicate that you need to hang onto them until you acquire the upgrade. Tales of Tribute clues are obtained from rewards boxes. These clues can help you find the corresponding card in the world. Third, clues now require confirmation to delete, which helps prevent you from deleting them accidentally. And lastly, the quality of clues you can get has changed from superior to epic.
The other changes made in Update 8.0.7 are as follows:
- Dreadsail Reef Trial
- Defeating Tideborn Taleria on Veteran Mode will now guarantee a drop for Gold-quality Jewelry, in addition to other Perfected purples.
- The Shrine of Mara and the respec shrines in Gonfalon Bay are now present and functional.
- You can now share the completion of all quest steps in all World Boss-related dailies.
- The Tournament Begins: Fixed an issue where you were blocked from turning in this quest.
- Tournament of the Heart: Aurelia now appears at the end of this quest so she can say her lines.
- Fixed an issue where Tales of Tribute experience would sometimes not apply until you logged out and back in.
- Fixed an issue where invalid Activity Finder errors could prevent matches from starting.
- Increased the amount of Tales of Tribute Club Rank experience gained from completing daily quests to grant 25, 50, and 75 experience based on wins.
- Fixed an issue where Tales of Tribute PvP rank placement rewards were not granted until the next rank was achieved.
- Fixed an issue that caused several Tales of Tribute pop-ups to show up repeatedly.
- The correct name and icon are now displayed at the end of the game summary from Tales of Tribute daily Activity Finder rewards.
- Slayer Deck Fragment now refers to "World Bosses" instead of "Group Bosses."
- Updated endgame text to make clear that you can meet or exceed your opponent's prestige, not merely exceed.
The Elder Scrolls Online Update 8.0.7 is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
