Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass continues to grow with time, increasing its value dramatically. Recently, the company announced that EA Play will be included in the Xbox Game Pass. This will give players access to EA's best franchises like Battlefield, Need for Speed, Stars Wars, and The Sims. But Microsoft acquiring ZeniMax Studios does more. As the parent company of Bethesda Softworks, all current and future Bethesda games will head over to Xbox Game Pass too.

Skyrim is heading to Xbox Game Pass

Once ZeniMax Studios is acquired, DOOM Eternal will become the first Bethesda game arriving in Xbox Game Pass. Here’s the kicker. During The Game Awards yesterday, another Bethesda game got mentioned: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The fifth major installation of the series will come to the subscription service too. Interestingly, fans do not have to wait longer to enjoy the game. It will launch sometime this month.

Xbox Game Pass also has other Bethesda titles

Besides DOOM Eternal and Skyrim, Xbox Game Pass will feature other Bethesda titles. These include Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Dishonored 2, Fallout 76, and The Elder Scrolls Online. Fans can expect this number to grow further on Xbox Game Pass due to the acquisition. Yet the best thing possible is future Bethesda game releases will become available on launch day. Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6 are two games Bethesda is working on. These two will automatically arrive in the Xbox Game Pass on launch day.

Xbox Game Pass in December 2020

Another good news should excite Xbox Game Pass subscribers. EA Play's release in Xbox Game Pass is set for December 15. This will open lots of other popular titles, such as Remedy's Control and Greedfall.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is widely available on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. There are two versions: Legendary Edition and Special Edition. The latter is the remastered version that supports 64-bit computing.
