F1 2021 Will Support Ray Tracing, System Requirements Revealed

This year’s F1 game, F1 2021, is only a couple of months away with a release date on July 16 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. It will also be the very first game by Codemasters to be published under the banner of EA Sports. Codemasters was bought by EA back in February.

The Steam page for F1 2021 is already up and running, and the developer revealed the official PC system requirements. Thanks to the requirements, it’s also confirmed that the game will support ray tracing.

The game will only run on Windows 10 64-bit, however, you should have a higher version if you want to play it with ray tracing. To run the game on minimum settings, you should be good with Intel Core i3 2130 or AMD FX 4300 paired with either Nvidia GTX 950 or AMD R9 280. A stronger GPU will be required if you want RT turned on.

Recommended settings demand even better hardware. For CPU, you should be good with either Intel Core i5 9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X. For GPU, you should have NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti AMD RX 590. GPU requirements for RT in higher settings are significantly greater as detailed below.
