Far Cry 6's recent Title Update went live yesterday. TU 4 brings a new mission, QoL features, and several bug fixes. The update size range is from 8 GB to 25 GB, depending on the platform and languages selected. We have mentioned patch sizes below:
- PC:
- Without HD Texture Pack: 8.64 GB
- With HD Texture Pack: 12.33 GB
- Xbox One: 12 GB
- Xbox Series X | S: 25 GB
- PlayStation 4: Between 17 - 22 GB
- PlayStation 5: 23 GB
The new mission is All the Blood, a crossover between Far Cry and Rambo. Completing the said mission will reward the player with Vengeance Bow. It’s an explosive weapon perfect to take down heavy enemies and helicopters. The mission is free for every player. However, you can purchase the Rambo Bundle to get Rambo-inspired gears to customize your character.
The patch also brought several QoL features which you can read below:
- Guerilla Camps: We made an update to upgrade your Guerilla Camps while playing co-op. Previously, upgrading your Camp while you were playing with somebody else would trigger a consent popup for other players in the party when you were upgrading a building. With TU4 this is no longer the case, and you can freely upgrade your camp.
- Ammunition pick-up from enemies: We have added a notification to the HUD when you are at the maximum ammunition and are trying to loot ammunition from enemies. Previously, you didn't get any notification and it could be confusing why enemy bodies were highlighted but you wouldn't receive any loot or notification.
- Enemy health bars and icons in vehicles: When dealing with enemies in vehicles it has been a bit difficult to differentiate between the vehicle health, enemy health, and enemy type. With TU4 we're changing the way this is displayed by hiding enemy markers while they are inside of a vehicle, to make fights more readable.
Several bugs are squashed as well. You can read all about them by visiting the official site.
