Players have access to a lot of different items in "Final Fantasy XIV," including different mounts that help them travel across the world of Hydaelyn.
Since the game's release, many different kinds of mounts have been added, and more were introduced in expansions that were released after. The most recent expansion, Dawntrail, also added several unique mounts that players can acquire.
One of the wings that you can get in "Final Fantasy XIV" is the Wings of Resolve, which grants players the ability to fly. This guide helps players learn how they can get their hands on these cool-looking wings.
How To Get the Wings of Resolve
In order to be the proud owner of the Wings of Resolve in "Final Fantasy XIV," you will have to complete EX2, Everkeep (Extreme). This is a particularly tough challenge that requires you to party with seven other players.
You will work together to face off against a tougher variant of the first Trial you can experience in the Dawntrail expansion.
Players who are not able to form a group by themselves can check the game's Party Finder feature in the Party menu, according to IGN.
If your party is able to complete the challenge, you will get a chest at the end that has a chance to give you the Wings of Resolve. However, even after you successfully finish your objective, you still need to roll on the item and hope to get the highest roll.
There is a chance that another player will get the wings after completing the challenge, which means you will have to beat it once more for another chance at getting this mount.
Alternative Method To Get the Wings of Resolve
If you want a different way of getting this mount, you can guarantee you get it by using 100 Resilient Totems to buy the Wings of Resolve from the miscellany vendor. This particular NPC is found at Solution Nine, Dexerto said.
You can get Resilient Totems for clearing the EX2 Everkeep (Extreme) challenge, and you get one for every successful completion.
This means that completing the challenge 100 times will guarantee you can get the Wings of Resolve if you have not gotten them as a drop at that point.
Other Things to Know
While the Wings of Resolve have a very low chance of dropping from the chest at the end of the challenge, there is one thing that keeps players' hopes up. This is because it is very common for Extreme trials to have their drop rates increased in later patches.
This means that it is entirely possible for "Final Fantasy XIV" to get an update that makes it easier for players to get the Wings of Resolve for themselves.
This is what happened when the mount became available for purchase for 100 Resilient Totems, which was added in patch 7.2, according to Game Rant.
