There are a lot of characters in Fire Emblem Heroes but one particular hero we’ve been missing is Ike, but that won’t be true for long. This summer, the popular Nintendo mobile game will add Ike as a hero players can summon.
According to the official Fire Emblem Heroes Twitter account -- via Siliconera -- Ike will join the game this summer along with special version characters for the other winners of the popularity contest, “Choose Your Legends.”

The other “Choose Your Legends” winners were Roy, Lucian and Lyn, all of whom have made it into Fire Emblem Heroes. What took so long to get Ike into the game is anyone’s guess, but he’s likely to be a powerful character for many Fire Emblem Heroes players.
Ike has seen a resurgence in popularity thanks to the Super Smash Bros. franchise, which the swordmaster has appeared in since Super Smash Bros.Brawl for the Nintendo Wii.
