While the iDigitalTimes official review is still in the works, early reports are that the game is just OK. Frankly, it’s hard for anything to stand out from the massive shadow being cast by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at the moment, even the stellar Horizon Zero Dawn seems to have fallen off the map in less than a week. I had the chance to demo the game at E3 and walked away unimpressed. Feels like Ubisoft is going all-in on its open world mechanics these days, but the similarities between games is a bit of a turn-off for fans looking for experiences that are different than what Ubi has offered up lately.
