The goats are back, and now they are buggier than ever, as developer Coffee Stain North and publisher Coffee Stain Publishing officially announced a November 17 release date for Goat Simulator 3. The intentionally buggy, goat sandbox title will also see a physical release via the Goat in a Box edition, containing a collection of goodies for goat fans across the world. Goat Simulator 3 is also now up for pre-orders on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via the Epic Games Store, and to celebrate the announcement, a new trailer was released which you can check out below.
The minute-long trailer (aptly called "pre-udder") shows off the goats in their natural habitat: tongues out and falling from the sky from their various shenanigans. There also appears to be quite an unhealthy obsession with udders this time around, as the trailer does several close-up shots of the goats’ weirdly mesmerizing mammary glands. The trailer then makes a stunning (joke) revelation that this universe, in fact, is all set within the eye of a black, goofy-looking goat, something which will surely change the way our science works and how we perceive everything.
The Goat in a Box physical edition is also now available to order for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. It will include the following contents:
- Disc of Goat Simulator 3 in the platform of choice.
- Custom goat box that looks like a house of sorts.
- Goat plushie, complete with the long, hanging tongue.
- A steel book for Goat Simulator 3 featuring artwork distinctly inspired by No Country for Old Men.
- Three postcards featuring the goats.
- Double-sided poster.
PC players can access a separate Digital Downgrade Edition for Goat Simulator 3, which includes the following bonuses:
- Various “remastered garbage” from old Goat Simulator games including Old School Pilgor, Full Tank Armor (Goat MMO), Goat Zero skin (GoatZ), Space helmet and suit (Goat Simulator: Waste of Space), Masks of Don Pastrami, Valentino Salami, Dolph Spaghetti, and Humphrey Ciabatta (Payday).
- Digital soundtrack.
- 3D printing files (only available on PC) including Pilgor, Tony Shark, Goat Tower, and Trinket.
