Social media activity from a member of the alternative band Gorillaz has possibly hinted at the group releasing new music. Reddit users discovered an OkCupid account for the Gorillaz member, Noodle, which could reveal details about new number being released.
The OkCupid account was linked to Noodle’s Instagram page. The “self-summary” area contained the phrase “Ready? 12:11,” which fans suggest could hint to a release date for new music. Could is translated to Dec. 11 or Nov. 12, depending on how you read dates. Could it refer to a time?
There has been no official word from Gorillaz band members. The OkCupid page has since been deleted.
Gorillaz is a British band fronted by four virtual characters: 2D, Murdoc Niccals, Russel Hobbs and Noodle. It’s non-virtual members include Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett. The band is known for singles including ‘Feel Good Inc,’ ‘Clint Eastwood,’ and ‘DoYaThing.’
