Granblue Fantasy: Versus hasn't even released yet, but it has already been named as one of the main tournament titles for Evolution Championship Series 2020. EVO 2020 is returning to Las Vegas with players fighting it out from July 31 to August 2.
Considered as the biggest fighting game events in the world, EVO is where players and fans gather. In addition to Granblue Fantasy: Versus, other titles in the event are:

- Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Tournament of Champions
- Under Night In-Birth
- Dragonball FighterZ
- Soulcalibur 6

Developed by Cygames in partnership with Arc System Works, Granblue Fantasy: Versus is a fighting game that offers characters you can easily love combined with story-driven mechanics. The game includes fighting styles that are easy to learn, but are clearly difficult to master.
Granblue Fantasy: Versus will launch for the PlayStation 4 in Japan this month and in the U.S. on March 3. Both physical and digital versions are going to be available at $59.99. There's also going to be a physical Premium Edition priced at $79.99 while the digital Character Pass Set special edition is available for $79.99. Meanwhile, a Digital Deluxe special edition can be purchased for $99.99. All special editions are going to be available at launch.
Granblue Fantasy: Versus will release with both English and Japanese voice-over tracks. In addition, all gameplay modes are going to offer text localization in English, French, German, and Spanish.
While Granblue Fantasy: Versus is mainly a fighting game, it also offers a story mode. The story mode offers exclusive minions and bosses for players to fight against. For the fighting game itself, since the game is difficult to master, each character has what is known as Skybound Arts. This should hopefully ensure that new players can master the game quicker. This skill can be activated by simply pressing a button, though it has a cooldown before it can be used again. Those who uses advanced movements to initiate the move have the cooldown time shortened. So far 11 characters have been confirmed to be part of the game.
