BitSummit 7 Spirits was filled with all sorts of big news last weekend, and one of the most exciting tidbits includes the release date for Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX.
Inti Creates’ Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX, a platforming-action game, will be launched for Nintendo Switch on September 26. It will also release for PC and, for the first time ever in the whole series, PlayStation 4. The game will be sold for $14.99 digitally.
Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX is set in the same world of the first two titles of the series, Azure Striker Gunvolt and Azure Striker Gunvolt 2.
The game has its very own unique features. There are abilities that will fit any sort of player, such as Prevasion that allows the player to nullify damage, and Anthem which revives the player and makes them even stronger. These are just some of the abilities that will help you out throughout the game. If you are an experienced player, you can challenge yourself by scoring Kudos, that you can get by kicking combos in and as you avoid damage.
The game has also been updated to make the best out of the new hardware. Robot Lola, your loyal partner, will transform in the middle of missions. Her transformed state allows her to put her powerful songs in the game directly, to make the action even more thrilling than before. Inti Creates proudly says that the sounds and graphical effects for Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avengers iX are the best in their whole history.
Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX’s intricate score system also acts as a social component, with its aspects made to be shared. The scores will be displayed after every mission in the form of a result card. The higher your score is, the more tricked-out card display you get that will be picture perfect and brag-worthy on your social media account.
While the third installment of the series isn’t out in the market just yet, you can always check out the first two installments. Azure Striker Gunvolt is available for Nintendo Switch and PC. You can grab a copy for your PC for $14.99.
