Yesterday, 343 Industries and Microsoft showcased the first-ever gameplay reveal of Halo Infinite. Even though we got to watch a good chunk of the single-player campaign, the multiplayer side of things still remains to be seen. Most fans enjoy Halo games for their multiplayer experience. With only a few months until launch, Halo Infinite's multiplayer still remains a mystery and up for speculation.
Since Microsoft hasn't stated anything about Halo Infinite's multiplayer, several rumors have begun to appear online. One of the rumors suggested that Infinite will be shipped without the multiplayer. However, the community director of 343 Industries, Brian Jarrad, was quick enough to dismantle that one.
If Microsoft chose to launch Halo Infinite without the multiplayer, a great number of fans would likely feel disappointed with the company. It's a good thing that multiplayer is going to be an integral part of Halo Infinite's experience. However, it still isn't clear as to what type of multiplayer Halo Infinite will be offering to fans. Apparently, Windows Central has stated that they came across some sources that claim Halo Infinite will offer a separate free-to-play package like Call of Duty: Warzone. Call of Duty: Warzone is a free-to-play battle royale experience that can be downloaded at no cost, even if you don't own a copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Although we recommend that you take this information with a grain of salt, it may still explain Microsoft's silence on Halo Infinite's multiplayer.
Halo Infinite is said to offer an amazing experience on all available platforms - Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. The game will offer various graphically enhanced features including 4K resolution, 60FPS, and significantly quicker load times.
Halo Infinite is set to launch on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X this holiday season.
