Here’s What To Expect With The Hearthstone Felfire Festival

Are you ready to be part of the Hearthstone Felfire Festival? If you’re wondering what’s it about, this is a four-week event that offers a lineup full of challenges and rewards. This once in a lifetime event started on June 9 and is set to end on July 7.

The entire event begins with the release of Patch 17.4, which introduces Pirates to Battlegrounds. Yes, you read that right, pirates! It comes with 17 new minions along with three new heroes. Heroes include Captain Eudora, who lets you dig for a Golden minion. Then there is Skycap’n Kragg, who allows you to get one Gold in the turn it comes into play and then increases with each turn. Finally, there is Captain Hooktusk, which lets you remove a friendly minion while letting you discover one from a lower Tavern Tier.

Once you’re satisfied with the first event, June 17 introduces the Trial by Felfire Solo Adventure. For this event, players follow Aranna Starseeker. If that name sounds familiar, she’s the younger sister of Elise Starseeker, but is even craftier. This Demon Hunter in Training has a skill that allows you to see seven minions in Bob’s Tavern once you Refresh seven times.

The Solo Adventure offers a total of five chapters, and upon completing it, players get the Rusted Legion Card Back.

By the time June 24 arrives, Hearthstone is going to launch the Trial by FelFire Challenges. In these challenges players have the chance to go against the likes of Doom Lord Kazzak, Supremus, and Mother Shahraz. Completing all challenges earns you none other than the Golden Kael’thas Sunstrider.

During this same week, the Burndown Tavern Brawl also makes a return. Here players take control of a random deck where the loser of each brawl get to use the deck of their opponents in the next round. The ultimate goal is to see which deck dominates.

Finally, on July 1 players get to experience the Rumbledome Tavern Brawl. The objective is simple. Choose a class, a shiny new weapon, and just rumble away.

Festival goers are also treated to a Legendary Questline. Here are the quests that are unlocked each week and their rewards:

    • 1 Saviors of Uldum Pack
• July 1 at 12:00 PM ET
  • Play 4 Tavern Brawl games and earn:
    • 1 Ashes of Outland Pack
    • 1 Year of the Dragon Pack
    • 1 Descent of Dragons Pack
