The Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto is just a month away but that doesn’t mean Trainers should just sit and wait around. Right now, everyone’s having a good time in the Hoenn region and after that, they will be off to Johto. It’s going to start on January 26 and run through January 31.
Finish the Challenge
During the event, there’s a Johto-themed Collection Challenge that can be completed by collecting these Pokémon:
- Chikorita
- Cyndaquil
- Totodile
- Sudowoodo
- Sunkern
- Murkrow
- Smeargle
- Miltank
- Larvitar
Once completed, Trainers get these as rewards:
- 15 Poké Balls
- 10 Ultra Balls
- Incense
There’s also going to be an event-exclusive Field Research that not only gives out Stardust but can lead to encounters with:
- Chikorita
- Cyndaquil
- Totodile
- Chinchou
- Mareep
- Sudowoodo
- Miltank

Time to Evolve
During their time in the Johto region, Trainers also have their Pokémon learn exclusive attacks from the 2018 Community Day events. Pokémon evolved during the event can learn an exclusive attack:
- Evolve Bayleef (the evolved form of Chikorita)
- Get a Meganium that knows Frenzy Plant.
- Evolve Quilava (the evolved form of Cyndaquil)
- Get a Typhlosion that knows Blast Burn.
- Evolve Flaaffy (the evolved form of Mareep)
- Get an Ampharos that knows Dragon Pulse.
- Evolve Pupitar (the evolved form of Larvitar)
- Get a Tyranitar that knows Smack Down.
Join the Raid
These Pokémon will appear in raids:
- One-star Raids
- Chikorita
- Cyndaquil
- Totodile
- Mareep
- Marill
- Larvitar
- Three-star Raids
- Togetic
- Espeon
- Umbreon
- Skarmory
- Miltank
That’s not all since in five-star raids, these Pokémon are set to appear:
- Entei
- January 26 to January 31
- Raikou
- January 31 to February 4
- Suicune
- February 4 to February 9
