A new trailer for Homefront: The Revolution is now online, just in time to give fans something to chat about this weekend, and our latest glimpse of the upcoming open-world shooter focuses on the guerilla warfare that will be a pillar of the Homefront: The Revolution experience.

Some of the content featured in this week’s trailer has already been seen by the Homefront: The Revolution community. We’ve known for months that firearms would have a mod system, that explosive barrel traps would offer a quick burst of damage against KPA patrols and devices like the explosive R/C car offer a mix of stealth and overwhelming force when heavily outgunned.

The trailer also includes a few other items from the “guerrilla toolkit”, including molotov cocktails and stationary explosive charges. But the focus is clearly on quick strike tactics you’d expect to see deployed by the insurgency in an occupied land. There are tips about nighttime ambushes, recruiting small squads of freedom fighters and another look at the motorcycle players will rely on to get around Philadelphia a bit faster.

For a closer look at Homefront: The Revolution and the guerrilla warfare players will take part in when the game heads to stores, check out the latest trailer from Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios.
