'Indiana Jones and the Great Circle' Shares New Information: Release Dates, PC Specs, and More

Developer MachineGames shared new details about Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, including the upcoming game's release dates, PC specs, and more.

The iconic adventurer is less than a week away from showcasing his prowess in the new game. Game director Jerk Gustafsson also explained that the Great Circle is actually real and is a mysterious item in the game.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

It is said to connect several historical sites in real life, such as Giza, Easter Island, Sukhothai, and Nazca. The developer also revealed the exact hardware that fans should have in order to properly play Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

The major thing to note about the game is that it forces you to have 120GB of free storage to prepare for Indiana Jones' arrival. Xbox users can somewhat be at ease as the game will only require about 87GB of free storage.

However, the game does have an optional 45GB Higher Resolution Textures pack that is defaultly installed on Xbox Series X. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is set to release on Dec. 9, 2024, according to Eurogamer.

Players who pre-order the game's Premium Edition, Premium Edition Upgrade, or Collector's Edition can play starting on Dec. 6, 2024. On the other hand, PlayStation 5 users will have to wait until spring 2025 before they can go on their own Indiana Jones adventure.

PC Specs

The minimum PC requirements for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle are listed below:

  • Processor: Intel Core i7-10700K @ 3.8 GHz or better, or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 @ 3.6 GHz or better
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER 8 GB, AMD Radeon RX 6600 8 GB, or Intel Arc A580

The recommended hardware specs for the game are the following:

  • Processor: Intel Core i7-12700K @ 3.6 GHz or better, or AMD Ryzen 7 7700 @ 3.8 GHz or better
  • Memory: 32 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080Ti 12 GB, or AMD Radeon RX 7700XT 12 GB

On top of getting early access to the game, players who have the Premium Edition will receive a post-launch expansion known as The Order of Giants.

There is currently not much information about this content but is said to be a narratively-driven unique experience, Gaming Bolt said.

This particular edition of the game also comes with a digital artbook and the Temple of Doom in-game outfit for Indiana Jones. Another thing to note about the game is that it will be playable through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

However, subscribers who are on the Standard and Core tier will not be able to gain access to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, according to Polygon.
