The Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai is coming soon to the west, including the US, on PC through Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
The game allows players to experience the story of the anime series The Adventure of Dai. In particular, this action RPG offers stunning visuals and combines them with art from both anime and manga.
When it officially launches, players can look forward to various unique and enticing features, like the two ways to enjoy the game. The first is Adventure Mode, which offers a more classic story progression and follows the plot of the anime all the way to the Sovereign Rock Castle arc. The second one is the Temple of Recollection where players experience an evolving dungeon that changes with each playthrough while adding difficulty and rewards along the way.
In the game, players also have the chance to collect and equip rare accessories called Memento Bonds, which can augment abilities and stats even further. Each time players unlock a Memento Bond, they get to see a scene from the original manga. That’s not all since players can power up Memento Bonds by exploring the Temple of Recollection.
In a post, Square Enix shared that more information on Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai is to be revealed at a later date.
The Anime Series
In the Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai anime, the world suffering under Dark Lord Hadlar was able to attain peace due to the efforts of a hero swordsman and his companions. Time has passed and the monsters that were freed from the Dark Lord now live on a solitary island in the south seas called Dermline. On this same island lives the only human, who is a boy named Dai. He has long wanted to be a hero and live in peace with the monsters. All of these change when Dark Lord Hadlar is resurrected. You can watch the anime on Crunchyroll here.
