Catwoman is returning to Injustice 2 and NetherRealm Studios has released a brand new trailer showing off Catwoman’s movesets in action against both Batman and Harley Quinn. There’s also a nice bit of dialogue between Selina Kyle and Harley Quinn in terms of the Gotham City Sirens that fans of the comics would love.

Like many of the returning fighters in Injustice 2 , Catwoman’s movesets are very similar to how they were in the original Injustice . However, there are some minor changes that make Selina Kyle more deadly.
While her claw attacks and combos remain intact, her whip plays a bigger role in her fighting. In the first Injustice , Catwoman had a straight whip attack that gave her some range, but in Injustice 2 her whip can be used in a variety of new ways, most notably during an air combo.
Catwoman’s character power has also changed, allowing for a black cat to approach an opponent and attack them leaving them open for attacks.
While these Injustice 2 trailers don’t offer much in terms of in-depth analysis of what each character can do (you’ll have to watch NetherRealm’s Watchtower Twitch streams for that), they do offer some hints as to how the characters fight.
Injustice 2 will release May 16.
