Injustice 2 has yet another new trailer, this time focusing on villains. The trailer also shows the debut of two new characters: Captain Cold and Scarecrow. Bane and Gorilla Grodd can also be seen in action as well.
Scarecrow, of Batman fame, looks especially nasty, with a rusty hook that can be used to grab onto opponents and pull them in close. Many of his moves also play with the idea of messing with the minds of his opponents. Scarecrow seems like a character that plays best when further away from opponents. The hook he has can be used as a ranged weapon, or can pull opponents in close for a beatdown.
Captain Cold, a supervillain from The Flash comics, comes with a devastating cold gun that can freeze opponents in their tracks. The gun can also be used to create walls of ice to kick at people. Captain Cold seems like he’s a character that excels at close range, but may not be as effective from further out.
Gorilla Grodd can be seen smashing up Green Lantern and the Flash, using his strong grapple moves and mind powers. Bane can be caught for a little bit flexing and beating in a variety of faces. He’s Bane, what else did you expect he’d be doing?
While we already know a huge number of characters for Injustice 2, even more are set to be revealed. Injustice 2 releases on May 16 for Xbox One and PS4.
