Injustice 2 has added another new and old fighter to its roster. During Gamescom, NetherRealm Studios released a new trailer showing off the reveal and gameplay footage of Harley Quinn and Deadshot.
Harley Quinn returns from the first Injustice with a pair of new additions to her arsenal in the form of two hyenas. Fans of the Batman animated series knows the Joker had two pet hyenas running around with him and Harley.
Deadshot, on the other hand, comes off the Suicide Squad movie and into the upcoming fighting game with his arsenal of guns.

A closer look at the newest Injustice 2 trailer shows how Harley keeps some of her signature moves/combos from the first Injustice game. Her drop down attack where she kicks her legs returns and her signature mallet makes a comeback. While the aforementioned hyenas look to be a small part of her move set, they will show up for her finishing move.
If you think NetherRealm is just giving Erron Black from Mortal Kombat X a reskin to introduce Deadshot, you’re wrong. Deadshot uses knives to fight in close while utilizing his wrist guns to great effect.
Ricocheting shots off the ground and even showing off some athleticism with flips and dives.
A big draw of Injustice 2 is its gear system , the RPG element of collecting gear with different effects and equipping your characters with them, allowing for each character to play differently. We see a lot of Harley’s armor in the trailer but none of Deadshot’s.
Injustice 2 is set to release in 2017.
