Two new characters were added to the Injustice 2 roster at San Diego Comic-Con. Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle Jaime Reyes were revealed at the Injustice 2 panel, Friday.
Wonder Woman’s return in Injustice 2 was teased earlier in the day by the official Twitter account. Why she wasn’t included when the game was announced alongside Batman and Superman probably has to do with DC Comic’s celebration of her 75th anniversary.
Blue Beetle was teased by Ed Boon himself weeks ago and his inclusion brings another new character to the franchise.

The panel’s guests included NetherRealm Studio’s Ed Boon, Tom Taylor (writer of the Injustice comic book), Laura Bailey (Supergirl), Phil LaMarr (Aquaman) and George Newburn (Superman).
Some of the news coming from that panel, outside of the two new characters, was Tom Taylor’s return to the Injustice comic books with a new story that will bridge the gap between the two games.
Apparently, Supergirl will be rocketed to Earth in between games. She will be very pivotal to both sides of the fight.
Blue Beetle was added to the Injustice 2 roster because of the amount of requests Ed Boon received on Twitter.
A Tournament Mode will be inlcluded in Injustice 2 and GGPO. Ed Boon also said that an Injustice 2 port to PC is "pretty likely." Ed Boon also says that he won't be surprised if another Mortal Kombat character gets added, but probably not Scorpion.
