Justice League is the most anticipated superhero movie of the fall (sorry Thor ) and Warner Bros. is stepping up promotion for New York Comic Con this weekend. While there won’t be a Warner Bros. panel discussing the DC Comics film lineup, the Justice League Twitter account confirmed a new trailer will release Sunday in a series of tweets featuring character posters of The Flash, Cyborg, Batman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman.
The posters don’t tease any plot points, but they give a clear look at each hero’s costume along with the slogan, “All In,” probably signifying the group's first formal mission as the Justice League. The Flash and Batman posters are particularly striking. This version of Barry Allen’s costume could not look more different than the CW series, which is far less mechanical. As for Batman’s poster, the matte black of his cape shines perfectly against the black background.
In addition to the posters, Warner Bros. unveiled a set of Justice Leauge emoji for all your tweeting needs until the film premiere. You may also be interested in prints of each hero, which will release sometime in October before Nov. 4.
We probably won’t see much of Justice Leauge at New York Comic Con, except for toys and collectables. For views of the show floor Thursday, you’ll want to follow @PlayerDotOne on Twitter. That doesn’t mean DC won’t have a large presence, though. One of the most exciting panels is Doomsday Clock with Geoff Johns. Expect some big news regarding Gary Frank and Geoff John’s ambitious endeavor of bringing the Watchmen and DC Universe together.
Also look out for news regarding the return of the DC imprint, Milestone, with the re-launch of the Dakota Universe. One of the most talked about series as of late, DC Metal, is also having its own event. On the animated side, we’ve got Batman vs. Two-Face and Gotham By Gaslight to look forward to.
