K-dramas are all the rage right now and the upcoming game Love Too Easily is giving fans the chance to be part of one. The game itself is based on as-if scenarios from various romantic comedy K-dramas. To see if the game is for you, play the demo version on Steam.
Love Too Easily can be categorized as a full-motion video (FMV) game which allows users to have their own stories as well as endings. However, what sets it apart from others in the same genre are the different elements like the range of mini-games and quick time events.
The game tells the story of Yeon-woo as she tracks back memories and collects clues to learn more about what happened the previous night. Specifically, the story starts with Yeon-woo kissing someone at a bar she went out to with her friends and then waking up the next day. The problem is that she has a complete black out on whom she kissed last night. Even worse, it appears she's brought someone else's phone. To continue her life at college, she must find out whom she kissed and what happened that night.
What makes it fun for players is that the target Yeon-woo decides to chase changes every time they start a new round. This allows for a lot of experiences even from a single game.
Love Too Easily is made possible through Monster Guide Inc. In a statement, CEO Stella Oh revealed that they've been working on the game since 2020. She added that they've been pushing the boundaries when it comes to traditional romantic comedy K-drama as well as FMV games as a genre.
